Kleinki Posted January 17, 2016 Author Report Posted January 17, 2016 Thanks for the input guys.. i understand what you saying and im not saying 2:1 is better or anything and i do believe 2 carbs is better.. My last race i was leading by 4min and had do idle my last lap because my i lost my thumb somewhere on the track. The race is like 160km all terrain.. If i can still get a good tuned banahee out of the single carb it would make life easier for me.. Like i said im not after more hp and all that stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

trickedcarbine Posted January 17, 2016 Report Posted January 17, 2016 Got ya. Ever thought of going to a Honda Thumb throttle to help that situation as well? Or even a twist throttle? Quote

chris_sims1981 Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 I went to the 2:1 setup and didn't like it so I went back to pj34s and haven't looked back. This engine loves dual carbs and operates better with them imo. Quote
Snopczynski Posted December 20, 2016 Report Posted December 20, 2016 (edited) Awhile ago one guy (snop) did a bunch of test between a single carb vs dual carbs. He was a huge single carb fan until he actually did a bunch of dyno testing with the two setups. After the testing he said that dual carbs maybe better power every where through the dyno curve. Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk Sort of, the single carb had a better torque curve down very low, but it wasn't worth the loss it had through the mid range and top end. guns4children Posted December 20, 2016 Report Posted December 20, 2016 Only one way to find out if this is the real snoop. I'm building a serval for hill climbs and trails. What pipes and carbs should I use? Go! Quote
