05.Banshee.SE
I need a tire that is good for hard pack/road, track, and trail. If there isn't one, then hard pack/road and track alone will do. 2005 Banshee SE All stock When I plan to order tires, I will have installed: T5s, K&N Pods, PD Coolhead, 21CC domes, TORS removed, Jetting, ported stock reeds/VForce 3s. dragbanshee
Razor 2s serious traction!
mdhc500
I love my Holeshot HD's... They hook-izzup!!! Best ITP Holeshot I have ridden. I do hard pack dirt trails, with lots of rocks and shit... My buddies are always getting punctured sidewalls... Not me! Also you can pretty much let the air out of them and they will get you back to the house or truck. But everyone has their favorite brand of everything and I'm sure the next guy will say what I run is junk! 05.Banshee.SE
I've heard how good both of those tires are. I'm afraid to get them, because I will be doing a good amount of street/strip, and don't want to tread to get eaten fast.
mdhc500
My HD's have worn like nails thus far. That have more than double outlasted a set of razors my neighbor runs on his craptor... We ride the same stuff? Just a FYI... I think so long as you dont do, what you are doing in your signature your tires will last a while!!!! lol  Edited August 20, 2008 by mdhc500
05.Banshee.SE
Haha...that was a one time thing with some stockers. Now it's time to explore the aftermarket tire selections... What do you guys think of Hoosiers or similar for road/track, and getting Razr/Holeshots for offroad?

What do you guys think of Hoosiers or similar for road/track, and getting Razr/Holeshots for offroad? That makes sense if you plan on doing any asphalt time. Check out the duro tires for asphalt... jamebo
I love my Holeshot HD's... They hook-izzup!!! I had a set of those on a quad I use to have, and I liked them alot also. As far as wear they really held up good, and had excellent traction too.
Hilarious
Razor 2s serious traction! the razr 2's i had did do well but they were really heavy. on the other hand they did wear extremely well.
Michael Jackson
you want tires for riding , trail, track, and paved roads? any tire thats decent on the trail will wear out fast on the road. thats just how it is razr 1's and 2s are great and last a while holeshot gnccs are great , better traction, faster wear youll never find a tire thats great for everything u need to compromise softer compounds will hook up better but wear faster, and harder compounds like razr 2 will last a long time but not hook up as good

dragbanshee
Tell ya what, I threw a set of the yfz tires on my banshee when I 1st got it and man you could just hear those things ripping into the ground for traction. I was kinda impressed by them.
