UNCC Grad
I've recently put on some Burgard 2+1 arms on my Shee and using the stock shocks, it seems to sit a little low. I'm looking for some longer shocks that will raise the ride height a little over the stocker which I think are 14.75". The prices for the YFZ 450 shocks are getting a little crazy, so which others will bolt right in? TRX 450r, LTR 450, KFX 400, LTZ 400, 400ex, etc? UNCC Grad
Anyone? I'd like to get some before this weekend so I need to get moving on them I'm thinking something in the 15.5" to 16" range would be good. Maybe some Raptor 660/700 or 400ex shocks? I'd like the YFZ but I just don;t see paying $250 for factory shocks. Edited August 19, 2008 by UNCC Grad

UNCC Grad
My local shop said he can order some Works dual rates with rezzies for $350+ tax. This seems like a pretty good deal to me. I compared the specs on the Elkas to the Works and neither have rebound or compression adjustment, only preload. I think for my application and budget, the Works may be the way to go. I didn;t understand that the 2+1 arms need to be valved differently. I thought it was the length of the shock that was the difference in the regular vs. 2+1 shock. It makes sense now that they would have to be valved stiffer due to more force being transferred to the shock with the extra width of the a-arms. Works is down the street from my job, I wasn't offered a deal like that! Can I have the info to your shop??
