OKCterror
i dont think some comp would make a useless product. Maybe you have to have a certain setup to see significant results

2 STROKIN'
well i have one wtf should i do replace it with stock piece or what??? and i really am a greenhorn at these bike thanks lol Maybe think about a 2 into 1 intake...I got a trinity 2 into 1 manifold with a 35mm carb. Great throttle response since then, and no TORS crap to mess with. And, hey...i'm no pro, these are just things i've done.
POORBOY350
yea i like the 2 to 1 intake but i gotta get my money up first lol. i still have alot to learn about these bikes. why do you run an air box? i think it is alot better w/o one and what is tors?? Wildcardracing
Companies will offer anything that sells, regaurdless if it works or not. I think that just about every company that offers the billet intakes offers a version with no crossover. I'll be honest, I'm not sure if there's a real advantage to doing away with the crossover all together. But, I can tell you that the boost bottles are a gimick that several companies have capitalized on over the years. They cause nothing but problems. They will weigh down and crack the manifolds causing air leaks, or the welds can crack also causing air leaks. As far as the 2into1 carb setups, I don't think the gain is worth the loss. A pair of 28's will substantially out flow the 2into1 in the top end, and will be quite comparable in the bottom. I will however admit that the 2into1 is much more forgiving on your throttle thumb after a day of riding.

Wildcardracing
what do you mean? One throttle spring vs. two, less effort to open the slide.
jamebo
+1 Banshee's definitely have a stiff thumb throttle, after a few hours riding I find my thumb getting awful tired!

Klotzban1
Honestly....I've tried the boost bottle years ago and I couldn't tell a difference. I ended up putting my stock balance tube back on at that time and I haven't regreted it so far. With the stock balance tube I have more room to do any adjustments I choose to. (quite convenient.....lol...Thanks Yamaha!) I bet the person who designed the boost bottle is still laying on some sandy beach somewhere grinning and drinking umbrella drinks at our expense. LS1Inferno
+1 Banshee's definitely have a stiff thumb throttle, after a few hours riding I find my thumb getting awful tired! If you hvae no TORS and are sure your throttle wont stick you can cut the springs some inside the throttle, i have a twist so it doesnt bother me but i have seen this done a few times. and i also dont like the 2 into 1 carb setup i have bought two bikes with them both only burnt up on one side.
