TeamRealtreeHD
Seriously man.... don't. And if you do trade for a four stoke, get the YFZ. Not the Honda, not the Kawasaki, not the Suzuki.... the Yamaha. But even then, that is a bad choice. You have one of the nicest banshees I have seen on here. I would never do it, unless you really don't like it. To each his own
xXBlessedWithDeathXx
so about 9 for the rims and a G for the front shocks / arms. you have port work, fullbore, 2 in 1 , and i`m sure more. if i were you and i wanted a 4stroke i would part that baby out before i did a trade, if you have a title you can get $4 shipped for the frame easy.. just in what i named is about 35 hundred. i would think twice about that trade. i think your smart enough that if you didnt think you should do it your post wouldnt exist. Titan up
I'd keep the shee man. With that 13.5:1 piston you'll be running gas fo sho. Once you start tearing into the engine and upping the compression and porting and cams, those 450's turn into fucking grenades. The Honda even has stock suspension on it. Plus you'd be bored with a Briggs and Staton power band. If it was a stock motor with a pipe and a nice set of arms and shocks, I'd feel alot better about the trade. What I was thinkin, I know its tempting but everyones right you would regret it. I have gotten rid of 3 shee's and regretted each one enough to get another, its 4th one and Im keepin this one. You would end up getting another.

Uh, I meant to say you'll be running "race" gas fo sho with that piston. Sorry tried to edit my earlier post but too late.

Anyways, I'll keep my banshee and will buy a 450 later on, GOT to have both man...

Same opinion, no fuckin way. You've got a sick ass shee and will never be able to get another like it that will ever be that clean if you decide to go back. You can pick up a nice YFZ from ebay for $3500 any day of the week driving maybe 2 hrs into PA. And you could always use the bullshit excuse like i'm going to. "But honey, I bought this one for you so we can ride together!" On another note, were you ever riding in those sick trails in Brooklyn right off of the Belt pkwy that they turned into a shitty housing development and a fuckin mini mall? I cant remember the name of that place to save my life but we used to blast along the beach there, they had killer hills, for Brooklyn, and nice sand and dirt to play in. You would ride in between cars that were smouldering that were stolen and stripped the night before. Used to be good riding......
LiftdT4R
Another vote for the shee. If your racing MX, GNCC, or something like that, then the 450R might be better for you. But if it's just a play bike your going to be unbelievably bored if your used to riding a Banshee. Everytime I ride my buddies 4 pokes upstate, Im thinking "neat, this bike handles good, and has even power delivery, very easy to ride" but I'm never really scared or excited. Jump on a Banshee, totally different story, never had a trail ride where I didn't come back with stiff hands and sweaty palms.
jamebo
Yeah I think that if you have the room for storage you should just keep your Shee and get another quad. I got my Banshee first, and later I wanted a four-stroke for trails so I got a Raptor. It's awesome to ride, but sometimes I want nothing less than to scream around with the Shee.... there's definitely no replacement for that! I think you'll regret it if you trade..... bronco91shee
i would agree to keep the shee. just nothing like it. however after riding the yfz, i was faily impressed. my girl loves riding too, but she just doesnt understand the 2 stroke shit. but she love to ride fast and have a shit load of power. so im hoping to get her a 450 so she can have fun and keep up. then on the days she has to work.....i get to ride a 450...i win both ways. i was not as impressed with the 450r honda....adn idk bout the suki or kawi....but i say keep the shee and buy the second quad. and dont buy a modded motor 450. i hear from lots of ppl the engines are built to the max from the factory......specs and tolerance wise....do much mroe = boom! besides...why would a guy dump a bunch of money into redoing a motor, then sell it? it dsounds odd. not calling him a bad guy or anything, just curious.....i do know alot of us are falling on hard times though. sooo. ambye thats it just dont leave that sweet ass banshee...ar come trade me for mine....then trade mine for his...lol
