LR04 Banshee
Hi there new to the forum, im looking for advise! I don’t know what jets to pit on my banshee. The mods are t6 pipes, vforce reeds, pc coolhead, after market air filter in stock air cleaner box with vented lid. I cleaned the carbs and found that it currently has 270 mains and 25 piolets, the needle is set 3rd notch and the elevation is 2030 in las vegas temp ranges from 70-115f. I was able to get the quad stable at 1/2 turn out on the air screw and 1.5 on the idle stock tors. The bike has a stable idle but i wonder if the jets are correct for the mods? I have not done plug chops yet dont want to risk running it lean and causing unwanted damage to the bike. Can i get some guidance please. That sounds spot on for the main for your temp and elevation, V-force reeds like a bigger pilot and your air screws only being out a 1/2 turn confirms that. Bump up to a 27.

Jon2021
Hello all. Have a old build jd jug with 596cc 10 mill. Yes 596ccs has 39 pkw s, previously added. It’s a panini build with unmarked duncan pipes and cascade silencers.. Any suggestions for the best tune? Timing? Jet sizes? Previouse owner had stock 39 mm jets and timing was retarded to six deg adv..It kickes backed at starting and lacks top end. I’m thinking adv back to 10 deg and run 60 Idle and 164 main jets. It’s supposed to be a 120-130 hp build. Suggestions please.. Thxs
