Misssppelllleddd Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 I recently rode my friends YFZ450 with a steering stabilizer and it was pretty nice. He said it is a bitch to install but it works great. Has anyone tried it on a 'shee? Quote
Doug Austin Posted August 17, 2008 Report Posted August 17, 2008 I recently rode my friends YFZ450 with a steering stabilizer and it was pretty nice. He said it is a bitch to install but it works great. Has anyone tried it on a 'shee? I wont ride a trail bike anymore without one. Had a pep on my banshee and it made a huge differance. No more sharp feedback through the handelbars. Steering feels much smoother in the trails Quote
SandRageShee Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 my dads banshee has a p.e.p on it and its handles the rocks, cut up dunes, ruts etc etc a hell of a lot better than mine. less jerk when you hit something and it coast in a straight line better Quote
Ben350 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 i have one on mine, makes riding in whooped out sand MUCH better Quote

desertdeweller Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I have a redneck one on mine cheap and fairly easy to do if you don`t mind a little fab work. It is a fairly stiff one though but I like it a lot had it on there for about 4 years. It is off a vw bug I built a mounting bracket welded to the lower frame between the pipes then made a bracket for the steering stem and bolted it to that. bought one at the local parts store for $30.00. used it for 2 years in desert racing held up very well. A fellow desert racer gave me the idea he had it on his. you have to look real hard to even see the thing. Quote
2001Stroker Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I've always been curious about these. Do they make it harder to steer? Quote
