F!NE DR!VE
Hi all, Im new to this forum which btw is very helpful. I just picked up a '96 Banshee for $900. Heres a pic of what shee looks like.. . Its kinda dirty cause I rode it that same day and that thing is pretty fast and alot of fun! It has new Mikuni carbs, K&N filter, FMF Gold Series exhaust and silencers (looks shitty but sounds good), wider handle bars, flipped front wheels and worn tires and a DG grab bar. Other than that, its pretty much stock. Are Banshee's supposed to have a sudden top end pull similar to a Honda VTEC?

LiftdT4R
Are Banshee's supposed to have a sudden top end pull similar to a Honda VTEC? It's called a powerband. It's a 2 stroke thing. Welcome to the board, there is a ton of info here. Not a bad lookin bike for 900 bones. Now it's time to pimp it.

ClimbAnyHill
Yup! Those pipes are help that powerband kick in and that's the awesome thing about the Banshee! PIpes might look ugly but they do the job right?? My pipes looked like that too! Get a wire wheel and knock that junk off it & go with a ceramic coating. Good deal for $900!!!! Welcome to the headquarters!!
