Keyser Soze
Picked this 1980 Yamaha TT 250 for free. It jumped time. Put it back in time and presto. The thing sounds identical to a 1998 Warrior I had. The seat is about the same size as my Banshee. Never seen one that big before on a dirtbike. Its more like riding a tractor than a dirtbike. The number plate up front doubles as a water jug, came from the factory like that..never heard of it. The handle bars need adjusted other than that its perfect. If anyone around Indiana has a old beater quad for my wife to ride I would trade. Otherwise you will just have to dream about owning such a fine peice of yamaha machinery. Sorry to post a misleading thread lol fastest production bike of all time. Just had to share my sweet deal with others.
lilmegill727
nice... have you raced it with the shee yet? Edited August 9, 2008 by lilmegill727
LiftdT4R
I think those seats actually interchange with a Banshee. Nice bike though, you cant turn down the old school bikes. They might ride like shit, but theyre nostalgic as hell.
2strokespirit
I like vintage off road bikes. I had a PE175, 250, 400. I loved them. Wouldn't mind to get another PE250 for restoration..
Keyser Soze
I havent raced it against the shee yet. Even tho its a lighter I think it would get its ass handed to it.
jamebo
Man that's pretty cool! I like the vintage bikes too, Thursday I picked up a 1975 Honda CB 360. Needs a whole lot of cosmetic stuff done but it runs and rides great. I got it to mechanically tinker around with, and ride around the neighborhood.... bbcmudtruck
Haha, I had a 1980 yz250 last summer. It was balls out fast and no suspension. That dam thing bucked off everyone that ever tried to ride the crazy mofo.

That dam thing bucked off everyone that ever tried to ride the crazy mofo. I used to restore vintage bikes. The hobby is getting expensive now, but I still have an 88 HRC (Honda's factory racing bike) CR125 I take to Haspin these days so my son can ride the Banshee since the CR will kill him. The TTs were great machines and fairly reliable. Nice find.
