blowing stingers off

Honestly I think the best hangers are the stock Yamaha ones. They have a rubber grommet in between the two of the hanger pieces so it won't rattle your frame to death. I just don't trust the solid aluminum modquad/aftermarket ones. Without that grommet your transferring al ton of vibration to the frame, so the potential for cracking is there.

As far as melting the air box, I think I've had that problem with every set of pipes I've had. I've never had a set melt through the airbox, but they do leave a mark. It's just the way their made, plus every frame is going to vary a little bit, so it's just gonna happen.

As far as the jetting your going to have to post up what kind of setup you have (mods, outside temp, elevation, etc.) And what jetting your running now and we should be able to tell you if your close.

elevation is 1233ft. I have t-4s, open air box, pro flow, 30mm d-slide carbs.

i think thats is all I have that would effect the jetting?

the temp is around 80 right now but in PA give it ten minuets and the weather will change.

the current jetting is what was sent to me by arb-parts-warehouse. i would say it is probably155, 53 because he gave me 50's, 55's and 152's, 158's.

on another note I run Amsoil Dominator but I dont mix it 50:1 like the bottle says it is a little leaner(because I was fouling plugs) more like 55:1 and it gets my plugs dark. Hope that helps.

it runs good but i have noticed when out on the back roads were I can get it going at the top of 5th and 6th gear it has almost no powerband, and I can feel it kinda kickin in and out.
