fastquad02blaster
I did the whole yfz 450 front suspension. Now I need to lower the back end to match and possibly come up with a way to raise the front end too. That way I could TT and go trail riding also. They have aftermarket linkage to lower the rear but I dont know if you would want to go that route. Im not sure how it would hold up to jumping or how the ride would feel, seen them on ebay for 37-39.00 . Thinking about getting one myself. 00tbanshee
here is what i used and i think it would be safe if your jumping as well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_ATV-Parts-...6.c0.m245.l1318
KEVSWS6
Are you trying to lower it for a particular reason? We put longer eye to eye shocks on it to raise it up. Sat too low for us using the 450 front end.
notsed
wouldn't that extra linkage cause the swing arm to travel to far up?
fastquad02blaster
wouldn't that extra linkage cause the swing arm to travel to far up? A guy I was talking to said that the most they get off the ground when TT racing is maybe 10 inches off of little bumps. He said that he wouldn't even classify them as jumps. I just want it to be able to go around some corners really well.
fastquad02blaster
I just made my own linkages. I put holes on them for 4 and 5" lower. I'll let you know how it works out.
