421banshee Posted August 3, 2008 Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 (edited) Well here at Mid-America Speed way we want to expand the racing scene and we are going to try the showdeos. We will be having Drag racing when I return home from Iraq, but for now we want to get things going for the ATVs. So if there any who are interested in completing then please let me know. I am trying to get this together from Iraq. So we need to have an idea about the out come. And much sure it is going to bring enough people so we can put the event on. We are thinking bout having them every other weekend. So let me know what everyone thinks If I feeling like there will be a good out come I will post more info bout this. The Showdeos will be ran under M.A.D Racing As I stated before soon there will be Drag Racing as well. We will have a sand drag stripe and after I return we will try the run the Drags in the mornings and the showdeos in the early afternoon and will be having few night drags. LOl I assure that there will be drag races. I Should be home mid Oct and will be putting on a drag race or two. I might not have the sand stripe built for them but I will be working on the sand strip for the nest season. We are not gonna half ass on the stripe so it gonna take a little bit, but like I said I will be trying to have a couple late Oct and first of Nov. As of the showdeo we want to get things going right now but we need to be sure that there will be ppl showing up. I would like to have the showeos in the next couple weeks. But sorry to inform you that the drags will not take place until I return home. So if you are interested in the showdeo let me know how many bikes are interested. Cause the more bikes the more money we can give to the winners. I( Josh Albert ) will be dealing with all the fourwheeler events at Mid-America Speedway, but for now Jason foster(the track owner) will be running the showdeos until I get back. We dont have anything yet. Jason and I have been talking bout getting one, But I tld him bout yours and didnt know what you were gonna do with it. I have been trying to et ahold of Bob bout seeing i he wanted to do something and let them run it under my conditions, but I cant get ahold of him. so I guess Jason and I will do it ourselves, but hell we a drag racers, and showdeoers. we dont know much bout the showdeo and We want to get things started for the Quads. But the shodeo take a different timing system than the drags and they run around a grand. You will need to talk to Bob or some of the old deadend guys bout where to get them at. (the riding scene is realy dead around coffeyville) I ride with Dustin and Bob and im sure you will have at least 10 to 20 of us show up every time.
