jetting plz help

anyway swaped a new motor in her today and i need to know what how many turn on the air screws, what clip on the neddle, what pilots, and what mains the aavride temp for this time of year is any where form 60-75 F, ihave snrokle removed, K&N fliter and FMF fattys with power core two,i am 282.2ft above sea leavel and am mixing my gas around 20:1 i would rather run richer i am outta replacement motors, and i have peleny of plugs,plz help

I'm guessing you still have the air box, and stock carbs so here is about what you should be at. Also, you probably wanna mix 32 to 1, with 20 to 1 your wasting a lot of oil.

 

260 mains

needles on middle clip

25 pilot (maybe even next size up)

1.5 turns out of the air screws

 

That should get you in the ballpark, youll have to mess with it a little yourself to get it 100%

how come you say 260 mains and everyone elts telllsme 300's?

 

because he has a clue what hes talkin about

300 mains seem to be what alott of people recommend for every piped bike, every condition, no matter what, air box or not, i think people just like the number 300

id ditch the lid and try some 280's, stock pilots and needle on the middle and go from there, if you leave the lid on, your main should be under 280 definitely

but like the guy above me said, read the plug chop thread, everyone can just guess, only you can ride it and see

do yourself a favor and run 32:1 too, you foul plugs because of your jetting, if your jetting is right, your plugs should never turn black
