ChippewaTSI94
Hey guys, I just bought a second bike that I'm probably going to be scrapping for parts. It came with a bunch of aftermarket items which I'll be keeping, but it does have a set of Paul Turner Hi Rev pipes which I'm thinking about selling since I already have FMF Fatty's. Which ones do you guys think are worth keeping? The Fattys have Turbine Core 2's with about four hours on them, and the PT's have the Fatty 2 silencers. I do mostly dune riding and light drag racing, with some ice racing in the winter. Thanks!

ChippewaTSI94
Do you guys think there will really be a noticeable difference? I'm inclined to keep the FMF's simply because the silencers are damn near brand new and I'm sure I won't get nearly what I paid for them. The PT silencers will probably need a repacking, but that's no big deal in the long run. However, if the PTs are really going to make a difference in terms of sheer power and powerband, then hell yeah.
duneblazer
thats my vote too. if im not mistaken you have had some PT hi's on one of your banshees?? either now or in the past?? think i remember u sayin in a past topic!
LiftdT4R
Keep the FMFs and sell me the Hi Revs!!!! For Dunes I'd probably take the PT pipes, the FMF Fattys are going to give you more low end, and a smoother hit on the powerband. The PT Mids are more compareable to the FMF SSTs (actually when I ran them I couldn't tell the difference). The Fattys are low end pipes, the Hi Revs are mid range pipes. ChippewaTSI94
Throw them both away or sell them!!! ha ha... JK If you do mostly high rev riding keep the PT's... Haha, sell them both and replace them with what, CPI's or T5's? That seems to be what everyone on here praises as god's gift to Earth anyway... I kind of like the design of the PT's, you don't see them often. Really the one major issue is that I don't believe the Fat Boy silencers have spark arrestors, and I just bought a set of FMF Turbine 2's a week ago. I really, really don't want to have to sell them for a loss AND buy a set of sparky's. Anyone here know if I can use the FMF silencers with the PT pipes? Thanks guys! I'm sure you could use them if the lined up and coupled correctly, but these pipe companies all say they are specifically tuned and designed for their pipes, etc... I supposed it could effect performance...?
