bansheeboy02
Does anyone know if an 18 tooth front sprocket will fit without any mods. I need to set up for 1/4 mile and a 17/39 is still way too short. Thank you

BigRed350x
Run the taller gearing set on your primary output gear and clutch basket. Then you could get away with running a much taller gearing on your sprockets without getting such tall gears. I think it will let you drop 1 to 1.5 sizes on the front sprocket. So... with the taller primary gear running a 16 would be the same as running a 17 or 18. I think NYUK runs the taller internal gears, you might ask him about it. - Jared

Going from a 39 rear to a 36 is about the same as going from 17 front to a 18. Hope this helps.
