98_banshee_newbie
Hey guys remember I am a newbie. and I just went to the badlands and granted my tires are in bad shape but when I was going up the dunes Not even thinking they were that big I was in third gear trying to hit my powerband and it wouldn't let me I would have to down shift or turn around to avoid dying. Is that normal or Do I need new tires and it will better or what. I was kind of disappointed. Or maybe I was just doing something wrong. Need help going back in a couple weeks. My shee has t6's and open airbox lid and jetted to I think 320 other than that stock but everything is running good the rest of time. Thanks guys. jbooker82
I would say you have a jetting issue. You should be albe to spin the tires.

Paddleboy
i'd try dropping the jet down with just pipes and open air box. those tires should spin like crazy in any gear if you had no paddles.
98_banshee_newbie
Oh they were spinning up until i start goin going up the hill for a little bit and and the dunes there are kind of a pea gravel mixture also as for the tires i don't kinow probly worn out stock ones that do not have much tread showing
98_banshee_newbie
I had my shee at the shop to have it jetted because I was out of town for a month and when I got home I wanted to ride so the shop did the jetting.

Yeah bro dont feel bad im kinda new to banshees also but I not to 2-strokes in general, and that jetting sounds kinda high. Im at 200-500 above sea level and my buddy runs 240 with pipes and open air box lid. I have open airbox lid and i run stock jets I thinks its like 220, so I would say depending on your elavation between 240 and 270 would be pretty good, of course if your kinda high in elavation youd need more than that but like the other guy said at a high elavation 310 max! but id try just buying a jet kit and go 290 and see where that gets you then go up or down from there
