T-daddy
another question i just noticed i had a timingplate its set at -5 could that explain the crappy running and what should i set it at
jbooker82
Yea the plate at -5 might not be the best. What kind of fuel and compression are you running. Most people run +4 on premium fuel at 150 PSI compression. If your running Race fuel at 180 PSI compression then most people run +6-+8. As for the oil Klotz Supertechniplate is a great oil and it smells good. I would try Klotz Supertechniplate at 32:1 first. That way you wont have to mess with the carburetors. If you lean out the oil you increase the fuel so you might have to change the jetting. josh

jbooker82
yea it might make it harder to start. Since your running a stock head and premium set the plate at 6 deg. Increasing the timing helps boost midrange.
