WAD Posted July 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 The hill was quiet the entire time i was there.....I heard someone passed away last week not sure what happend though What ive heard is 12 air lifts and 2 deaths this year...hope it was know one that anyone hear knew .............. Michael Jackson Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 (edited) yea its gettin a little out of control up there lately, they got security up there now riding around on quads, watch out peopel are gettin hurt every weekend, i know someone died memorial day weekend, and there was 3-4 other helicoptors there for other wrecks too,the weekend after people got hurt and cops showed up and were kickin eveyrine out of the lot, then i was up there this 4th-7th and heard from a few groups on the trails that there was cops at coal hill all day and at the flats parking lot all day and night kickign people out, bunch of helicoptors ,some seirousuly hurt people and maybe even another death? we rode by in the truck and saw a state trooper all parked up behind some bushes waitin for people to come by, watch out its gettin hairy up there Edited July 13, 2008 by Michael Jackson Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Michael Jackson Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 I hope we dont loose this spot now....shit it seems eveywhere is getting to be like this Im from long island ny and theres no where to ride up here its basically like you dont go riding you go out and get chased it sucks mann...... the key is, dont park at coal hill, and dont park at "the washes" (the big lot surrounded by pine trees on the side of the main road), thats where the cops go, they are too lazy , and their crown vics are too low, to drive all the way back through the woods, we drive 2-3 miles into the woods and park our truck, so they are way off the beatin path,, although when we were down at the lake last weekend swimming, a group of guys told us they saw some sort of law figure driving around the woods in a white blazer stopping people, and that there was a couple guys on 4x4 quads also, i mean you CAN buy the permit, from the readington anthracite coal company, $100 a year, qwhich is well worth it for the hundreds of thousands of acres there are to ride (even more really) but i dont know how registration and all that crap works, i live in new jersey and i feel ya, we drove up one weekend, rode for 2 hours, came back to eat some lunch, and a damn state trooper rolled right up on us, we didnt even see him coming, but after that article meat posted, i think it was meat, it looks like the area is in for a big chnage, they are talkin about building a atv park that consists of 1800 acres?1 i mean fuck.. 1800 acres is absolutely nothing, wed cover that in 20 mins, anyway just watch out, the best thing to do would probably be just stop talkin about the area all togetehr! haha, last year i went on youtube and typed trevorton, like 10 videos, now go on there and type it, 4 pages long , and steadily growing by the way, wad, were you one of the guys me and my friend on the white raptor 700 rode with that day? zach and wacko came up with 4 other guys on banshees and a bunch of other people, and said a couple were on banshee hq? WAD Posted July 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 Yea thats exactly what I do I usualy camp out there for a couple days so we go back behind the hill into the trails to a spot we camp in everytime......when were you guys out??? This trip only two of us were on banshees last year i did a trip with 3 on banshees....mines the blue and white one the other two are a black one with yellow frame and a primer gray one... I wish there was more people down there this week but it was dead.....the emptiest Ive ever seen it Ive only been there 6xs but shit I saw a total of maybe 15 people the enitire trip.... I met a local dude who was pretty chill who said it had been quiet lately I guess everyones gettin scared away....
