You definately have a problem. I can get 5 to 6 hours of non stop riding on a tank of fuel and I got a 492. I'd start by checking float height. huskyohilux Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 When I had the keihin 35 mms and filled up the tank I rode a coulpe of laps around the block and the tank atleast looked half empty , but totally I got maybe an hour on a full tank. Hilarious Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 2 strokes are notorious for consuming more fuel than 4 strokes. there are twice as many power strokes thus more power. so its going to use a bit of fuel. jamebo Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 I MIGHT get a couple on mine, but a tank sure goes by fast. My fuel injected Raptor goes around three to three and a half hours before the fuel light comes on. Now that's estimates on each one, I don't have meters on them and never really timed them out..... but a tank seems to go a whole lot further on the 700.
