Mr BadWrench Posted July 5, 2008 Report Share Posted July 5, 2008 Ive been beating my head against the wall looking for this. was hoping maybe someone else saw it. about 3 years ago a I ended up with this 1977 Yamaha XT500 flat track racer Someone I know put a lot of time and money into the motor...A LOT.... the rest of the bike has seen the end of its life span.. I remember while searching for information on swapping the motor into another bike frame I found a guy who had put a SR600 (nearly same as xt500) motor into a banshee frame. I cannot find any info and my original link because I had saved it is dead. Yesterday for $258 I bought a 96 banshee sans engine, plastic and tires. Im sure you can put the rest together..... The intake on my FL350R was made from a plastic cup, a piece of rain gutter, a septic coupler, 2 zip ties, 4 hose clamps and a K&N filter. and it ROCKED!!!
