Colby
I've been talking to a few different people and they all agree that it is better to run straight water in the summertime in the 421 cub banshee thanh 50/50... i will be using Redline water wetter too. any opinions? Bansh-eman
dont run just striaght distilled water, it will make your seals dry out and crack. If you live where the temp freeze in the wintr buy Engine Ice. It has freeze protection. If you dont freeze ten buy a gallon of distilled water and mix 12 cap fulls of Water wetter and your golden also dont run tap water. it will casue corrosion due to all the impurities in the water. and it can casue gunk to buildup and clog your radiator

I couldn't find any distilled water a while back so I used spring water...... will it cause corrosion too?

J-Madd
I run distilled water and watter wetter in all of mine. No issues so far. I don't ride when it's cold, but if the temp is gonna get below freezing in the shop, I switch to antifreeze or engine ice for winter. It freezes ( just barely) in the winter, but I do not ride when its cold.
