4stroker
hi there can someone please tell me the eye-to-eye lengths of the 450 front shocks and the banshee shocks? i want to use them with +2+1 arms and want the bike to sit at the same height, maybe a little lower, than standard. if they are longer, can it be bought back down in height by backing off the pre-load? thanks, mark
racer
450 = 15.75 350 = 14.75 DL = 1 inch.
4stroker
thanks for that man do you think ill be able to put the bike at stock height with the 450 shocks and the preload backed off? how will they then perform with little to no preload? all im doing with it is flat track, and just thought the 450 shocks would go better than the stock ones, maybe they wont! ill probably end up using a sway bar anyway, so does it really matter what shocks i use? thanks, mark
racer
my flat track experience is VERY limited, but from it: Use a sway bar. your money will be better spent on that. if I remember just one thing from my first flat track, it was wanting a sway bar.
