VP fuels

Recommended Posts

Not sure if anyones checked into this but if you go to your local airfield you can buy 108 unleaded that runs just as well its not as exspencive as race fuel but is about the same octane. and you guy have no idea I would love to bring some fuel back from iraq with me these fools pay like 75 cents a gal for 110 or better oct we are getting screwed on the fuel prices. but u got to love the smell every darn car around here runs high oct. I am not looking forward to comeing back to such damb bs prices. these fellows are making a killing off of some thing therer is no real shortage of but dont get me started when these prices hit the rich guy in the pocket they drop.

Yea very pissed off about this one sorry fellow riders

5gal of VP C12 cost me $68 bucks from Jake's Automotive in Auburn Hills Michigan. The more you buy the cheaper it gets, 15gal drum is like $160 and so on.

its expensive, but good shit. I used to run Sonoco turbo blue leaded 110 for $5.65/gal last year.

has anyone heard of tking 93 octane and adding toluene to increase octane rating sounded kind of weird to me but im no chemist???

There are a few threads here on BHQ about adding toluene to your gas, but as far as I can tell all of them were from back when gas was still pretty cheap and you could get race fuel cheaper than you could mix toluene with premium gas. I don't know how the prices compare now, and I'm not sure how effective toluene is as an octane booster, but there are a few threads on here that get pretty in-depth about it.

Try running a search for 'toluene' and see what you come up with.
