PassionRE
Thanxx y'all. I took it out for a ride today for the first time ( paddles on had to ride in grass) and i noticed it is tuned for midrange. Does not pull out as far on top as my ported 350 with pro circuits. The powerband is like a four stroke turbo, but just does not have a real high rev out. Even if i am parked in neutral and mash the gas, itwill not rev real high. Maybe its the long stroke? Trinity IV's? Porting? Dunno. Doesn't seem like the ideal setup for drag racing, but would be SO much fun in some wide open dunes like killpecker.. Typically not the hottest set-up for drag racing without massive re-work. Blowdown durations are so low on Big PV Cheetahs at lower rpms they actually have major charge contamination until you hit around 7k. You wont get that violent on the pipe adreneline rush until you've increased blowdown pressures, re-work exhaust ports BIGTIME, and modify PV's on big Cheetahs....Jim Edited July 11, 2008 by PassionRE

Most specifically the 421. Can it be bolted on and run or does it need some reworking?

Can you shoot me a package price....Thanxx

Can it be bolted on and run or does it need some reworking? Yes , same story on smaller PV Cheetah's.... a good design , just not ballistic drag engine material in the form they were casted. Good smooth power with respectable top-end, just not violent enough in nature to be intimidating in competition drag racing without re-working them......Jim Edited July 12, 2008 by PassionRE
