JONES
i was just on the cascade inn. website and they have a aluminum bracket that replaces the stock cage for better air flow. They say its for larger cc engines. it only cost 10 bucks so i dont know but it looks like it would make a difference. so if u or anyone has used it let me know thanks

jbooker82
Yea for ten bucks you cant go wrong. When you really need to have them is when you have a boss or any other intake that has a big square opeaing in the back. Helps match things up. shanYE west
I'd only run them to match up the intakes.. if you have the round style opening on your intakes... I'd stay with the stock stuffers.. JMO

Typically the vf3 is more of a large flow reed cage and should usually be used where the capacity of the stock cage is surpassed or on a drag motor. For low or mid increases in power the stock cage with a good set of reeds will do a better job in the lower part of the power band.
XxMeltIcexX
I run them in my trinity intakes, only reason they should be used is if the intake is a square bore. Only makes sense on a large motor or small motor, its like port matching your cases to your cylinders.
