if i get 2+1 a-arms,do i need a longer axle

im only twelve so i dont know to much about the suspension. i have a couple questions because im getting a banshee soon. first it has works suspension already on stock a-arms and if i get 2+1 a-arms what will i have to do to the shocks? and also if i get the 2+1 a-arms will i have to get a longer axle? and What length should it be? thanks

Your fine I have the works triple rate with +2up1 works great, now as you get older and puttin on more weight, "AS YOU GROW" you will then be thinking about upgrading as you become more of a daredevil. save your $ on shocks. Welcome to HQ

thanks, im good with banshees and 2 strokes becuase my bro and my dad both have done up ones and i have a done up blaster and i always ride them and we fix all of it our selves. and im always going off jumps and riding em and shit. shit and im finally getting one of my own if my dads collects some money this monday. thanks for the tips everyone! :biggrin:

Yeah little dude you should be fine getting +2+1 a arms and cranking the preload to make them a lil stiffer from the extra levrage you will be putting on the springs of them shocks from going to a wider stance. You can get new and stiffer Main springs from WORKS for like 50 bucks and that will be fine once you start getting a little bigger.

 

Like NYUK said flip them rims on the back so the air tubes (where you filll them) are backwards. Youll gain 2" and its free. Welcome to the addiction :cool:

and just to let you guys know i havent got a shee yet but i may get one this saturday!! i know which one i want but if that ones gone then im getting this other one. the white one is the one im probably getting. and the blue one is the one im getting if the white and red one is gone. thanks for looking!
