Ok here is the deal, i have the chance to buy a 94 shee. With T6 pipes in great shape. Works shocks, dura blue axel and Maier plastics. It has a broken wheel and tie rod. I can pick it up for 1k. SHould I? ANd are T6 pipes better than FMF fattys?

externally looks like all to me.... the pipes of course, front bumper, rear beadlocks with turf tamers, tors removed, a f'ed up color scheme, and thats about it, o wait the super cool shock arrangement lol one is normal and the other reversed, and i dont think those are works shocks...could be wrong tho. but for a grand? take that biotch with some tlc you could make it look good again.

Anybody happen to notice one shock is upside down??

Make sure it runs. If it does, take it....as long as it's not stolen and clean....

hahaha i noticed that as soon as i saw the pictures, then you said something..

shit, looks alright to me. make sure it starts up ok, and ride it. fuck for 1000 bucks you cant beat that with a stick..

That is what i thought too. 1k i could part it out and prob get that much. I will prob put the T6 pipes on my bike and put the FMF fattys on that bike get the a-arms fixed and sell it and make a little pocket change.

First of all, those are not works shocks. Those look to be LT230 shocks that he put on to try and lower it, for whatever reason. And God knows what he was thinking when he put the other shock upside down...

Plus, it almost looks like he retained the stock a-arms and just used some wide ass wheel spacers.

It look's like your dealing with a hacked up mess, than a complete idiot put together.

As long as it runs good, I guess it would be an alright buy. I bought mine for $500, which everything was nice except for the engine.

Check around where the cases go together, and see if they ever split it. Some idiots split them, then put it back together with that red sealer gasket, which just smooshes out and doesn't seal them.

Also, check the compression to make sure it's over 100psi.

If the engines good, offer him $900 and see if he'll take it.

  • 2 weeks later...

ok going to go pick this shee up sunday. I am kinda of pumped about it. I was looking over the pictures again, and noticed he had put wiesco stickers on it. Surley he did not just put them on there, so maybe if i am lucky it is bored and ported. It is in Tulsa, and we all know who is in tulsa. That would be badass if Jim built this bike.
