Nerf bar help!

Hi everyone,

 

Okay my Banshee currently has race cut plastics and IMS Roll Design pegs, as pictured below..

 

 

Looks DAMN cool in my opinion, but its also dangerous. I don't want my wife chopping her legs in the rear tyres if she's riding and she slips off the pegs!

 

Now, I have one of five options.

 

1. Leave it as it is and hope for the best

2. Refit un-cut plastics, stock pegs and stock nerf bars. I don't really want to do this.

3. Try and chase down some IMS Roll Design heel guards, which are rare and out of production.

4. Cut, re-weld and modify the stock nerf bars into heel guards.

5. Fit some off-the-shelf nerf bars.

 

Sounds simple, but from the reading I've done, there aren't many nerf bars which will fit with the IMS pegs.

 

Does anyone have a simple or easy solution to this problem, or know of any nerf bars which are guaranteed to fit with the IMS Roll Design pegs? Any suggestions would be great.

i say order some nice black powder coated AC PRO PEGS they go up in the back for a heel kicker and they come with their own footpegs built in so ur all good.

im sure somebody can take them roll pegs from you there nice, but propegs are too lol

Had a look and they do look extremely nice, with the heel guards too. Exactly what I'm chasing!

 

My only problem is the price...they are $500 here in Aus, but only around $250ish depending where I get them from in the States (plus about $100 to get them here).

 

Is there a recommended vendor that the BansheeHQ crew normally use? I'd rather put my shipping enquiry through them first.
