llawndogg
I Just came back from the sand dunes in St Anthony Idaho and the shee ran really good, but after hearing what you all had to say about trinity stuff (my shee has trinity stageIII porting), I was wondering if I would notice a big difference if I were to take my cylinders down to k&t perfomance seeing how kim muchmore lives litterally in my brothers back yard, and have him do a little porting on them? I was also wondering how much difference it would make going from stock reed cages to the v-force reeds and cages, if it is only a nominal difference I dont know if its worth the 230.00 price tag, what do the experts say? By the way I have bored out 34mm mikuni flat slide carbs on it.
brugal
If you have the money to spend go for it,I wouldnt, especially if its runnin hard. The reeds are going to give you better throttle responce. A must have in my opinion...
moneybags
I would call K&T and see what they have to say. K&T does some of the best work out there. They might tell you to get a set of stock non-ported cylinders and call them back. Some places dont want anything to do with outhers peoples work... shanYE west
On a mild build the gains from the V-force are probably gonna be minimal. until you start getting into some heavy drag porting a good set of reeds on the stock cages (boyessen, carbon tech) will be fine IMO.
