sandboa
I have a 98 Shee and never had any problems with it till recently. Out of the clear blue one day my shee would not run without the choke on. So i cleaned out the carbs which solved that problem. It will start and idle perfect. I got on it and tore around the yard and it ran great. But when I stopped it shut off on me. Turns out that it idles great when cold but when its warm it refuses to idle. I tried playing the idle adjustments which had no affect on the problem. My Shee is pretty much stock with the exception of your most common upgrades (exhaust, Boost bottle. etc.). I have vacation on the 4th of july and have plans to take it to our cabin (its coming fast). HELP PLEASE
Bansheeboy6
ive heard people having problems like this. its because of your boost bottle. or your see could be tired. now im no expert or even half an expert. but thats just my guess. sandboa
I have had the boost bottle on since I bought it in 2000. Never had a problem with it before. It hesitates just alittle when taking off. but it has been doing that for a few years. Is it possible it could be jetting or my air/fuel mixture?
mopar1rules
if it idles great when cold and not when warm, sounds to me like a jetting issue. what pilot jets do you have, how many turns out on the pilot screws, main jets, and float height? sounds like its rich. thats why it starts and idles fine when cold, but not so well when warm. a warm motor doesn't need as much fuel to start and idle, as does a cold motor. also, do a compression test for us and post the results.
