dirtydownunder
hey all, i have a bent steering arm (the arm that has the hole for the balljoint) i have re-wheel aligned it but becuase its shorter, at full lock that wheel can turn further and the rim rubs on the lower control arm, this arm is also bolted on and tak welded in place. You cant buy the arm seperate from the complete hub/stub axle. can you buy aftermarket ones can you bend these back or do i buy a 2nd hand one and bolt it on and re-tak it. thanx

2001Stroker
OUCH! That peice is cast. You could try to heat it and bend it back, but that would either make it really weak, or just break it trying to do it. I would buy a new one. I'm sure someine on here has one. I personally wouldn't trust bending it back, since it is cast.
