poorboy
Well i raced my boss yesterday he has the new 2008 Cam-am DS 450X With full motoworks pipe with programer. I just put on my pipes and got the jetting tuned it and it was a good thing i did. Every race was neck and neck He won afew and i won afew. It came down to who got the better hole shot. Now i need to go to the next step. What will give me the most H.P for bolt on mods? I have FMF SST pipes K&N filter with snorkel off. I want to be able to beat him everytime

MarineNYC
Like NYUK said. But you can throw on a timing plate ( like 45 bucks on egay). Increase it to +4 and you will beat him. Shee motor responds well when you throw some timing at it.

inthemail
im not the first to say it. fuck the vforce. do a forum search on tony doukas racing or TDR reed or whatever and taker a look at the modded stock cage. great mod, makes more sence then vforce. timing plate (might as well grab that 200W stator) a set of pods, jetting, drop a tooth off the front sproket, have your head planed a bit OR buy yourself a coolhead

Im running 280 mains and third clip with stock piolts 3rd notch on needles 1 1/2 turns out on screws whats a good starting place if i remove the lid? You really need to do a plug chop to see how your jetting is then make the change and do it again. Reading the plug is the only good way to know if your jetting is good. If it looks like you're running rich just pull the lid and then recheck with new plugs. If it already looks close or lean then you better go up a jet or two before running it with the lid off and then recheck with new plugs.
