I cant find an installed pic of these anywhere... I have the set with adj. caster (Hiem style) uppers... To be totally honest Im not sure if I have the arms installed on the wrong sides!! I tried flipping them but it seems they would interfere with the shock... I need to see a pic of these installed, PLEEEAAASE fellow Banshers help a rida' out... And If anyone know the stock castor numbers (degrees) I would apprciate Thanks!!!

Ya I gave up... lol, sorry man I know ive seen many posts about ASR arms and which way they go, they never leave any instructions.. I hear they fit both ways, but only one way is correct. If it were me id give them a call, they should know which way they go.... we hope?

ya iv seen a coupla brands of A-arms that could mount up either way. ya'd think the manufacturers would address that confusion with a simple note or a mark or something.

post a picture and we'll figure it out for ya.

the top arm should have straight tube and tube with a bend in it, the straight tube should be at the front of the quad and the bent tubing should be towards the rear of the quad

Wow, I have Quicksand a-arms and have the bend in the front...I've had it setup like this for years...LOL

I was told somewhere that this was right...Maybe they are wrong, but they are working fine. Maybe I should change them ?

no no no no don't change em. quicksand a-arms ARE designed with the bend in the front. ASR and the other brands that use FireBall Racing's A-arms should have the bend on the upper A-arms towards the back. After I wrote my first post in this thread, I thought about you QuickSand guys, but didnt think anyone with QS arms would reply :blush:

heres a pic of my ASR +3+1 s . the upper looks backwards and may very well be, but i had clearance probs with the shocks when the uppers were switched. be nice if they sent instructions with these.hopefully thier customer service improves. so far these are a good set of A-arms and have had no probs with them. i lube the heim joints and mounts after every run.

I dunno Grinchy, first thing I thought when I seen your picture is "that dont look right " But its hard to really say if its right or wrong without seeing pictures of it mounted the other way. It looks like if you'd flip your upper A-arm around, it would match the angles of the lower A-arm. I think you'd want both arms parrallel to each other. I dunno man, its a hard call. This ain't the first time this question popped up BTW. It seems that a simple set of directions from these A-arm companies would help alot of people.

I dont know who makes ASR's a-arms. Fireball racing makes their swingers though. I know fireball doesn't make the a=arms becuase the owner of fireball told me that. I looked at a set from fireball this weekend on a 450r, and they are nicer than the ASRs. Plus ASR customer service suck big donky dong.
