sangheraent
need help Just installed toomey t5s with Vforce 3 reeds and will install K&N intake with proflow and stock box. I also have +4 timing. I have completely stock jets and it runs horribly (only ran it for 30seconds) I am thinking of going 330main and needle clip in 4th position. I am at sealevel and will probably never go higher. no porting stock motor.
ASRBanshee
330 mains are too big if you decide to run your full air lid with the intake snorkel. If thats the case 280's should be suitable

J-Madd
I'd say leave the clip in the middle..and s far as the main, I always ran 350s with that setup. A little fat, but ran great. 300 ft elevation, 50-90 degrees. YOu didn't ask, but the stock pilot is fine w/T5s.

Michael Jackson
if u got the lid off the box, try 280-300, 300's will prob be fat now thats its summer, if you got the toomey needles, try the 3rd clip down, 4th was too rich for me, made a huge difference in lowend just moving it up 1 Edited June 2, 2008 by Michael Jackson
wacko2000
I ran that setup not to long ago and I was between, 290-310 depending on weather, with some porting im up around 360-370 now.. try 310 and go from there..stock pilots will be fine, just adjust you air screws. sangheraent
I put 330s in it yesterday and it runs perfectly. the plugs are a little on the wet side but I like it a little rich. I didnt touch the needles or the pilot and it starts idles and all the way through pulls without backfire, bog or anything. thanks guys!!
