Alot of guys dont like the holiday weekends so I figure either the weekend of July 18th, Or the following weekend of the 25th. I'd like to get some good dune riding in along with some drags. It would be the first time for the year and our 'shees. It would be nice to meet up with some fellow HQ'ers. Where do you guys normally stay/camp over there? I'll be stayin at the state park for that weekend (June 26-29th) I'd Like to get somthing going in July. That way people have time to make plans and arrangements so we can get a big turnout. All the holiday craze will be over, the weather will be cooler.Hotels get MUCH cheaper after Labor day...and the dunes aren't too busy. I start back to work 1st of September. We also have 2 big races in September with the little sandy race and the show me the money race (if it happens). I doubht I could get another weekend off in after september 1st.. Isn't that the truth!! that weekend was a blast!!! Kinda why I dont want to plan anything in September! lol I think Late July is going to be our best bet. Got 3 weeks off from the 4th weekend. Maybe see some of you there--by the way I hate crowded weekends (the summer there).
