help on flywheel cover

ok i have a timing advance plate and so today after the tors removal im doin some odd and end stuff while my jugs are at HJR but anyways im trying to take off the plastic cover....you know the black one....and these damn phillips screws WILL NOT BUST LOOSE i have tried em all and none are budging! whats the best way to get these loose and have any of you guys had this problem

Impact driver and a hammer, rockymountainatv.com has them part#109-611. or some screw drivers have the hex on the handle end to put a wrench on and get a little more leverage. Use a #3 phillips or you'll strip the heads.

put the screw driver squarely in the holes of the screws and take a light ball pean hammer and hit the end of the screw driver a few times. but not to hard, you will feel the screws break loose. i just done mine not 4 days ago and this is an old trick of the trade that my brother taught me and he was a diesel mechanic. hope it works for ya!
