MarineNYC
http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...mp;#entry825727 Check out this link. Negotiate the price with him because no one bit on it. Spend like 40 dollars and get rid of that spark arrestor end cap, Get a timing plate off egay for 25 bucks and the other 300 spend on a port job from HERR JUGZ RACING. You will never look at the rear of a 450 again. I run these pipes and will take them any day over Toomeys. You will not be dissapointed
monster_energy06
I call BS, unless they guy on the KFX left the fuel turned off, weighs 400 lbs or doesn't realize there are a few more gears to go after 1st gear. Bone stock shee is low to mid 30s in HP, 450s are high 30s to low 40s, and weigh 50 lbs less...and have a much better torque curve... there is no 100% bone stock banshee that will beat any of the current crops of 450s...bone stock vs. bone stock. Period. Pipes, air filters, timing and a little more compression will come closer to level the playing field...but it will probably still be a very, very close race. Porting is where the power is...then learning to ride to get the power to the ground via tires, air pressure, gearing and the clutch. call it bs all u want ..... ive seen it with my own eyes, kfx got the holeshot but after the banshee was gone.....guy riding the kfx was maybe 160lbs maybe .....and has mx background..... guy with the shee 175lbs beleive me wen i say this the kxf is the slowest of all 450s ive tried them all. kawi, suzuk. yamy. honda. ktm.polaris, my top favorite 450 is the ktm out of all, and for the fact the yfz is just to say faster then a stock shee just to say......we've all raced them for fun and seent he out come of each
STINKYDELUXE
get the T5 pipes with the K&N air filter kit WITH the jet kit and take the top off the box. You will walk on him. Or get used pipes and kit and buy a $300 port job to make a killer package. But it will be tight on 700 bux. My .02 port and fmf pipes. what he said
MarineNYC
Set of used pipes and a timing plate is your best bang for your buck. You can do that for around 400-500 bucks. The rest you should blow on drugs and hookers. (sorry had to say it)

I love my 'Shee, but my KFX was fast as fook stock, and is now wicked fast... No way a stock Shee would have touched it even stock... At Dumont, when it was stock, I got walked on by breathed on Shees, but I was right there with other 450's that were sporting exhaust, etc. I'm not exactly small at 235, and the Kawi was plenty of bike even then. But back to the point, as others have suggested, a set of T5's, proper jetting, K&N pods, and a timing plate should set you straight... Porting and a bigger set of carbs will make your bike a monster...
