JasonsBanshee
I'm rejetting my Banshee. I've got CPI inframes, K&N, +4 timinig and I'm in Ohio which is like 740 feet above sea level. I'm going to start with 320s on the mains since my last bike had the same set up and that's what I ran in it. I'm not sure on what I had on the needle clip though. So what should I start on? And should I start with 27.5 on the pilots? I'm not even sure where the needle is at now or what pilots are in it. I've got the air screws turned out 1.5 turns right now. Just give me your two cents and it's much apprectiated. Thanks...
locogato11283
yea 27.5 pilot for sure. id start with the needle in the middle and air screw 1.5 out like you said. 320 would be a good starting point but i bet youll end up dropping down to 310 or 300. just do a WOT plug check with the 320 and see how your plugs look. dark = rich tan = perfect white = lean
JasonsBanshee
Are the pilots marked like the mains are so you can tell what size they are? My bike came with a dynojet jet kit installed in it and I have no idea what's in there. So I am going to tear into it and if there's already 27.5s in there I won't need to change them. FOr some reason though, I want to say that the pilots don't say what they are on them??
locogato11283
yes pilots should be clearly marked. if they arent id get some that are..
mopar1rules
dyno jet probably doesn't label them, that way you dont know what jets they are throwing together to make their special kit. i would get some labeled ones, just like locogato11283 said. you said you have k&n.....but do you have the big filter that goes inside the airbox, or dual pods?
