ClimbAnyHill
I'm sure it's going to buck, hold on!! Those cuts look clean!
gregrob
Looks good. Kevin does good work, you will be very pleasantly surprised at the power increase. Why did you paint the ported areas? They are left rough cut for a reason, and I wouldn't want that paint flaking off and slamming into my reeds.... The gas is probably going to make it bubble up and flake off. Just something to think about. Approach whatever you to the engine internally to make it run more efficiently/powerful, not for looks LOL. Good luck

They came off of an 06 black LE. When i took it apart that is what i found. The ports were all black. I sent them off to kevin and you can see what he cut out. It ran fine before. I guess thats how they come from the factory?

gregrob
Ah I gotcha. My bad, looked like you painted them, your engine is clean, paint looked brand new! Mine had the paint too but it was almost all gone.... Just flaked off when I pulled the jugs and ran my finger across the inside of the intakes. Don't know why they paint em from the factory but it's retarded.
KaosBanshee44
Mine were the same way i'm suprised they didn't get paint anywhere else where it wasn't suppose to be.

F.BEJARANO
So....How do i mix my gas? lol
Snopczynski
why not? :geek: As long as he doesnt ask what kind of pre-mix to use now, i think its ok... I think anyone who can look at a set of pics on a port job and provide what they feel is input as to what the power or job would be is an idiot. So I dont see much sense in posting port job pics without measurements of port heights, window widths, and comparisons of measurements taken before the job and after. Thats what determines what the power will be like.
hercalmighty
Dude, I think he was just posting the pics to show what Kevin did for him. He wasnt asking for any info just said he dosnt know what kind of power it will have. I think he is proud of Kevins work. Everybody post thier new toys. He did show pics of the oem ports and kevins ports so that was cool. Shows what kind of work kevin does

Kevin obviously just got done porting them for him, so its safe to assume he knows what kind of port he got. Or am I missing something??
