dajogejr
I run aluminum struts on all my bikes. That strut you ran last year I bent in half like a pretzel on my first pass with a bar...LOL...the one you borrowed from Evan. When I get the extra cabbage, I'm gonna need a strut for mine, might just go all the way around...not sure yet.

He does killer work, I would rather pay the money and have a nice set of struts than a half assed piece of pipe with holes in it ya know. I"ll post pics when i get a chance. klaser23
how many people run struts ? here's the one i built last year.. nothing special, but it works I run struts on front and a lowering link and back shock at the rear it seems to give it just enough cushion for a good launch. Now my motor's all stock so it would probably be different for a motor with lots of snot.

csrmel
you dont need heim joints or any real bushings on a strut. it doesnt pivot up and down since it is no longer suspension. just a piece of aluminum with 2 holes drilled through and some spacers is all thats needed. im running struts made out of an aluminum pole from a 6 foot wide patio umbrella and its held up well, even on grass and dirt drags and screwing off in my yard on wet grass with american racers. now thats some fun drifting lol) not to mention the asphault drags at moroso.
