jtraptor660 Posted May 7, 2008 Report Share Posted May 7, 2008 i have a 2000 396cc banshee. cpi oof drag pipes, trued and welded crank. 35mm pwk's currently a mx port job (hopfully soon i can afford a drag port, looking for a +6 swinger, domes/coolhead. and possibly some 8 paddle haulers. i weigh 250lbs and am wanting to know what would be a good drag sprocket combo for a 300ft sand drag. or some numbers to start with would be good. just doing fun drags no big compitition or anything yet. dajogejr Posted May 7, 2008 Report Share Posted May 7, 2008 15/45, start in second. YOu get a strong port job and get a 6 over swinger 8 paddles won't be enough. I weigh 250lbs, with a 6 over I ran 10 paddle haulers, or you could run 9 paddle extremes... Eventually you're gonna want to move up to an override and lockup to be able to shift under full power, let me know when you're ready for that.
