mederez
okay guys i set it at about 4 a CH over. I got tit all back together and now when i went to crank it in 2nd gear it makes noting seroious but some back fire popping. Should i just boost my OCTANE? 93 with booster or vp? Specifically porting, bore, stroke, carbs, reeds, pipes, and domes. Also, what is your elevation? Do a compression check. When you do it, make sure you hold the throttle wide open, and kick the living shit out of it. It might take up to 20 kicks to get the guage to stop going up. Make sure your keyway didn't fall off the crank when you put the flywheel back on. If it did, it is probably WAY off on the timing, causing it to backfire. Oh, and don't use octane booster.
