KaosBanshee44
I remember reading his first book when it came out and sorta believed it but after reading his second book i'm almost 100% convinced that this guy is really telling the truth. The after stories from his last book to the new one just wrap up a whole era of what he's been talking about ever since it started. If you like baseball as much as i do i suggest you read his books there interesting and make you think about what has been going on with not just the stuff you see on ESPN but the inside shit you don't hear about. But ofcourse the world is full of dumb fucks that wanna talk shit about him but they probably haven't even read his books. Ok i'm done sorry i'm just a huge baseball fan. theshee
I have not read the books, but I do beleive he is telling the truth about most people... Look how many people he named in his first book got nailed with the Mitchell report came out...
SQUIRREL MASTER
i think he's a bitch for throwing people under the bus like that. sad to say we went to the same high school. the street where the school was located was even named after him. it was JOSE CANSECO ST= SW 16 ST in miami. that shit was removed after a couple of years. dajogejr
Here's my thoughts. I read his first book and thought it was great. I haven't read the second yet, but I will. Should people be investigated for cheating and not following MLB's rules? Yes. Should this involve our government? Hell no. I'd like to think our government has more important things to do than worry about sports, period. I don't know, like balancing the budget, creating jobs, LOWERING GAS PRICES, health care, etc. The ones that are in front of the cameras for the whole spygate thing, steroids, etc., just prove they want face time. I don't see any of them calling up the commissioner of MLB, NFL, NBA or NHL when they're about to sign a bill into law, do they?? Let the organizations govern themselves, hand out penalties, fines, suspensions, etc.... Let the government govern the country, not sports.... True but i want you to read his second book and then come back to this thread and see if you say the same thing. I don't wanna ruin it for you but take my word on it just read it and i'm almost certain you won't have that same opinion on it after. The second book explains why the congress got involved. Not to mention a few more names that were suppose to be mentioned in the other book but got cut somehow.

I don't like it but you can't stop it so you might as well deal with it. It's out there and people are gonna do it no matter what. I played baseball from 5 years old to highschool and i worked hard to play well, worked out, stayed in shape etc. yeah for the guys that do it the right way it's not fair for them when someone is using steroids so intell makes them use them to keep up or to keep a job. dajogejr
Since it is clearly, without a doubt, 100% illegal, yeah...I have a problem with it. If they made it legal, I couldn't give a flying shit. I relate it this way. I'm a pretty safe driver. I stop for stop signs. Some asshole blows through it. Illegal? Yep. Did he get caught...that is the question. People do it....and when you're not someone that breaks the law....you get a little satisfaction when those that do get caught. Ever see someone zip by you on the freeway doing 100MPH plus. Only to drive down the road 10 minutes later and smokey has 'em pulled over.... Justification.... You broke the law, you pay for it. Do the crime, do the time.... Just like anything in life, baseball, atvs, etc. Don't cry about getting caught breaking the law.... I got a speeding ticket a few months ago. First ticket in probably 7 or 8 years. Cop was cool, I knew I was speeding trying to get in front of a semi to get on the freeway. My fault, I took my lumps, and that was that. No crying or blaming the system...my fault, I accept that.
