I just finished building her and she does have a special place in my heart mainly because I built it. Well here it goes.. 03 SE motor ported with a aggressive trail port by Kevin Herr bored 1 over with new wiesco prolites ( bitch hauls). Red cool hea W/ 21cc domes ( set up for pump gas). DMC 916 System, +4 timing, Trinity stage 4 2into1 carb set up with 35mm Klein. VF 3 reeds. Rev Max CDI. Very new Chrome 2+1 Lonestar Arms with Works Black Widow shocks and Lonestar Excaliber AXLE to match. Brand new Black HIPERS all the way around rears are 9 inch and Dual beadlock. Brand new sprockets with Gold o-ring chain. Fullbore fronts with race cut rears, POWER MADD hand guards, Bling star front bumper and Rhino lined nerf bars (not pictured) and Cheap ass Turner bars to finish it off LOL. Just wondering what I should be asking for a shee like this. I know you guys are going to beat me down for thinking for getting rid of her. Please be gentle LOL. It runs so siick I would hate it to rip her apart. I would like to see it go to someone close so I can gain a new ridding buddy. Many people hear that the motor is modified and pass just on that fact, they don't know who did the work, and want to build their own. Thankfully, the bike that I bought had the builder's name etched in both jugs. He's the best known 2-stroke builder around here, and my brother works for him. So I knew what I was buying before I paid for it. Wait for a Navy ship to come into port, and put it on Craigslist for like $8,000. As for parting, just go through and guesstimate how much you are willing to sell everything for. Keep in mind this will take alot longer and will be a PITA in my opinion. The ones that always sell are the cheaper ones. Everybody wants 450s now, it's just the way things go. Great if you want to buy a Banshee, not so great if you want to sell one. peterlocal22 Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 bro i always liked your banshee dont sell it. four strokes are nice but they do get booring. i almost sold my shee and im glad i got talked out of it. new bikes are cool for a couple years until they make a newer model, then your model looks old and the new one is better because it has improvements. thats why i love the banshee, they never changed so no matter what year you have there all pretty much the same. the only difference in banshees are the mods and anyone can mod there banshee how they want too. i dont know if this makes sense but dont sell it. chris c Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 thats a good price 4 what it looks parting it ur not going 2 nothing out of it sell it 4500-5000 if no one bites then there cheap bastards. dont go any lower. if u have it paid of do this dont ride it as u use 2 n save the money to buy a used 450(it has 2 b a yfz). then u can have the best of both per4mance bikes that cant b beat.
