Hy

First of all, i have to say that i'm from Romania and i have (as i know) the only Shee in my country. So it's very hard for me to buy parts from USA.

1. I want to replace the front A Arms with the new model (After 2001) that have the Tie Rods removable. At my model the tie rods are fixed and i can't change them. So i want to change them with the new model. It will fit it? It;s a good ideea?

2. I have the standard shock absorber and are use. I don/t have money for Elka (around 800$) so i find some combination of Gase and Oil from Progressive Suspension Model 512 for Bunshee Around 200$. It's Ok to buy them?

3. I have a Hinson Racing Cluntch and in about half a year will be used the plates. The European Hinson Company don't Sell the steel plates alone. But i have found in USA some Hinson Steel Plates wih 49.99 $. Can i take them ? Should be a problem?

4. I also want to buy (just in case) a chain and the breakes. Any ssuggestiuon?

For me it's very hard to keep my banshee in good shape cause i don't have anybody in my country to ask, so please give only your proved and reliable solutions cause i don't have the posibillity to test.

Thanks

as far as the a-arms go..you dont want to by any factory spec arms if you wanting to be able to change your ball joints. You would want to go with laeger arms, lonestar, janssen,or wickeds somewhere along that line..As far as your shocks go if your not a heavy racer you wont need the $ elkas any aftermarket shock is going to wonders for the banshee over the stock suspension..Is the 49.99 clutch your talking of the tusk clutch from rockymoutainatv.com.? If so its a good replacement clutch but I've found they wont hold up on highly ported motors very lone..My eric gorr ported cylinders with every possible bolt on munches through them..if you can you could get a i believe the yamaha fzr clutches as they will fit your banshee.. the chain..I highly recommend the primary drive atv x-ring I've been running this chain for 3 years i believe and have had to tighten it 1 time and have never thrown it. its cheap and well worth what it costs and dont forget to change your sprockets along with thte chain. also you should invest in a case saver...I hope this help and I'm glad to welcome you to the HQ

Thanks for your advice.

About Clutch Plates: I have a HINSON RACING CLUTCH with 8 Plates,

I want to cange only the plates, and i find these ones: http://www.motosport.com/offroad/product/H...Y=&cat0=ATV

The whole Cluntch it's about 850 $, but the plates seems to be only 49.99 $. I just wonder if these one is same reliable as the original. I have the original instal and are still in good shape, only that in someday will be use and need to replace them. As i tell you i'm from Europe and i can't make orders for parts every day. It's little more complicated.

Thanks and best regards
