Welding....now no start

Recommended Posts

it still only runs on 1 cylinder....when i check for spark it doesnt show any....but if i keep kicking it 20-30times really quick it will fire up but only 1 side....ive done compression check and it has 100psi...ive tested the coil as it shows in the FAQ and the primary resistance is good but when i go to the secondary it doesnt read..ive takent the capa off and no change...the resistance on the caps themselves are different then each other....the FAQ says that it means its shot, but i went to the yamaha dealer and the head tech said it was good when he tested it.....suprisingly they didnt try to sell me one since it was in stock....i need to get this running on the cheap....i think the coil is shot but dont wanna waste 75 on it and it not be the case.....id imagine the head tech thats been at the shop knows what he's doing or should i not??? anyone local to central NJ that would be willing to swap parts with me to figure it out??
