KEVSWS6
Are any of you guys needing fuel pumps for your small 421 alky burning Cubs? Drag port around 110 to 115 HP motors.

dajogejr
On alky I think you should do billet bowls and pump Oh boy...don't get me started....LOL. Kevin... 2 guys here run 4 mils...alky, 300 feet. fouledout421 and badassbanshee479. I know for 100% certain bad ass uses a dual pingle and billet bowls. I'm about 90% certain fouledout uses the same. On my 10 mil, I used stock fuel valve, a DF62 Octagon mikuni pulse pump (65L per hour) and stock bowls on my 39's. We all run 300 foot. I have a pump AND billet bowls on my Lectrons...but the carbs were given to me...with the bowls, and I really see NO reason to remove the bowls for smaller ones....I have enough fuel for 300 foot to 1/8 mile. Tap the cub on the intake...best place for a pulse line.
wesw
i think for 300ft you can get by with bigger bowls but 500-1000ft you better get a pump.
dajogejr
Oh...to add. Kevin, we also gut the stock gas cap, and drill the vent line. I drilled mine to 1/8 inch...
