Not to rub salt in the wounds!

So I get a phone call from the neighbor last week and he asks me what I think of trinity. So I tell him they build over priced mediocre engines that aren't fast for what they are. He then tells me one of our friends brother is looking at a Stage IV fully built banshee. I told him, dont buy it, find something built by someone else. So, I talk to the neighbor a few days later and he says the guy bought something with pipes and a cool head and some bolt ons. So I get to the dunes last weekend, and walk over to this guy and see his new bike has Stage IV exhaust on it, I kneel over and there is Stage IV scribed in the cylinder. I walk off and later on I see him out in the sand on it. I ask my cousin to race me so the guy will see us and come over to race. Its my Stock Stroke, stock bore, stock crank ported 350 (dual tm 28mm carbs and pro circuits and more bolt ons) against my cousins .80 over 4mill with pro circuits and a 36mm lectron ( + bolt ons). I am pulling dead even with my cousin and leading him by 1/4 length some races. Jake comes over and races us. He leads me at about 125 yards by 1/2 a bike length on that trinity bike. We stop and he says so do you think its fast. I say well what is done to the motor. He tells me it is a 4mill long rod 421 cc stroker with 38mm pwk carbs and he has vforce 2's with a dyna cdi. I tell him its not fast for what it is. He then learns that my bike is a ported 350 and the smile on his face disappears. The moral of the story here is dont spend money with trinity, they will fucking rip you off. They guy he bought that bike from had a $4800 bill from trinity. It got tailgated by a ported 350 with about $2000 in motor work done to it. Trinity is for kids, you silly adults. I ride the trinity bike and its all top end. My bike comes on hard at about 6500 rpm and only makes power to 8700 rpm. So, I am drag racing a 9500+ rpm motor with a midrange built 8700 rpm motor and riding his ass.

From what I hear anymore trinity does not perfrom as they used to. I have a ported 350 from trinity that was done a while ago (RNBRAD knows best) and I hang with alot of 4 mils. I'm going to a cub after these for sure tho

My cousins 4 mill was a trinity stage IV 350 back from about 1993-1998 it was a slow piece of shit then also. I used to wail on it with my JD Racing ported 350. Trinity has never done anything that has made me impressed. You should go to their site and read what they put on their engine package page for the banshee Stage IV kit. Its hilarious. "Built for no compromises, top-end drag racing. You can be confident knowing that there are no other 350 Banshees that can hang with your Stage IV." Fuckin please!

Sounds like good false advertisement to me...poor kids read that and instantly they have to have a trinity motor... :ermm:

Now that I read it over again, I think I'm going to order from Trinity right now, see ya on the drag strip!

I raced my buddies 250R last weekend at glamis. This 250R, is a Lonestar framed, 350cc Power Valved LRD big bore. Got a dyno sheet on it running 72HP on VP 112. My banshee is a Long rod 370, dyna ignition, ported, 19cc domes (pump gas) and i took him every race. He has me in the weight dept. by about 40 lbs, but his bike is lighter......

So a damn stock stroke banshee setup right will run right with these damn big bores.....
