Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone has had the privlige of racing a 540 hrd motor built by a Dr Q??Buddy has one and totally whooped my ass with my old setup.I'm going with a 4 mil setup with aggressive dune port with matt sheare pipes.Stock head thats milled down to 19cc's.Running stock carbs with 390 mains.Anyone have any input on this matter.Do i stand a chance? He beat me by 8 or more lengths in 500ft.Had PT mids with hotrod crank with just the stock setup.Any kill stories?

On gas...35s for sure. Alky...34PJs or 39PWKs. Don't think you're looking for alky yet...

34PJ carbs are CHEAP...and would do a world of good to your mil.

An aggressive dune port with Shearer pipes want to breathe...you're chocking it with stock carbs.

I know a guy that raced a DrQ zilla. The Zilla was stock except for Dr Q pipe, Qreeds, and Qsquish mod. The banshee was a 4mil w/ shearer pipes 34 mm carbs and porting. The Zilla smoked it. I know where a video is but it's a link to photobucket. Are you able to post links?

About the Trinity zillas... They arent impressive. Trinity still uses the same 80's technology on them. A stock Q Piped Zilla could hang or even beat a 3k Trinity zilla any day.
