caddyman
dual 28mm's. Think I am going to stick with dual setup. And that was going to be my next question.......what size? 28mm you think? What the hell is the stock size carb?

jmd0346
I havent seen one bit of info saying or proving that the single setup is worth having. Ive seen them gain a couple hp's on the low end but lose 2-4 hp's on the top. A Banshee engine is built to make top end power. Gaining a couple on the low end is nothing compared to losing 2-4 on the top end on an engine designed to make top end power. What good is 2 hp gain at 4-5k on an engine that runs at 7-10k most of the time. Trying to make a Banshee engine a low end engine is one of the silliest things Ive seen. If you want more low end responce gearing is what makes the difference. Not a damn single carb. I have one sitting in my garage now that is worthless. We took it ff my buddys bike and put the stock carbs back on. Its a much better running bike in every way with the stock carbs. IMHO its a gimick like the boost bottle. If anyone has some hard data to prove otherwise Ill gladly eat my crow. These are all just my opinion from my experience. Obviously opinions vary. Snopczynski
I will halfway agree with that. The low end gains from a single carb to a good set of duals should be minimal and unoticeable. The duals will way outperform the single mid and top end though. Porting or building a low-mid banshee is not a waste though. I have a bike that I can drag race against most ported 350's and even some strokers and either hang with them or beat them. However, I can leave the drag strip and run some idiot holes or ride some sand trails also. I have an extremely well running mid ported 350 that I would take over a topend oriented bike any day.
